The MCF Festival is a major fundraising campaign supporting the work of the Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF). Across the Province of Hampshire & Isle of Wight, Lodges come together to raise funds that help individuals, families and communities through charitable grants and support. Rowner Lodge No. 6974 is proud to play our part in supporting this important work.
Money raised through the Festival supports the Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF). The MCF was formed at the conclusion of the previous Festival, bringing together three national Masonic charities into one organisation.
Today, the MCF is one of the largest grant-making charities in the UK, distributing around £20 million each year. This funding supports a wide range of causes, including hospices, air ambulances, local charities and international disaster relief, as well as providing vital support to Freemasons and their families when it is needed most.
In the last year alone, the Province of Hampshire & Isle of Wight received £766,623 in support for individual members and their families, with a further £150,000 donated to local charities and good causes.
Bronze, Silver & Gold Awards
As part of the MCF Festival, donors can be recognised with Bronze, Silver or Gold Awards, depending on the total amount they contribute over the course of the Festival. These awards are a way of thanking supporters and recognising the generosity that helps fund the MCF’s charitable work locally and nationally.
Rowner Lodge No. 6974 is proud to have achieved a Silver Award and is now aiming for Gold to further support this important charitable work.
